Welcome to the 20th edition of Kosmorama!

Kosmorama Trondheim International Film Festival is the largest film festival in Central Norway, taking place in week 10. During this week, the festival occupies Prinsen Kinosenter in Trondheim with a curated program shown from morning to evening for seven consecutive days. This year, the 20th edition of the festival will be held from March 4th to March 10th.

Accreditation

For participants of the Filmtreff, we are pleased to offer a reduced price on industry accreditation.
The price for Filmtreff participants will be NOK 680, compared to the regular industry accreditation fee of NOK 910. Accreditation provides access to all regular film screenings at Kosmorama, as well as events included in the festival's industry days.

Opportunity to experience the opening film and anniversary celebration

It is possible to sign up for both the opening and anniversary celebrations at no extra cost for those purchasing Filmtreff's industry accreditation. Limited seats available, first come, first served.

Opening film and party

The opening film at Kosmorama 2024 will be screened on March 4th at Nova Kinosenter at 6:00 PM and is the Norwegian premiere of "Hammarskjöld" by Per Fly, starring Mikael Persbrandt. After the opening screening, there will be an opening party at Kjøpmannsgata Ung Kunst (K-U-K) in Kjøpmannsgata 38. The venue is a short distance from Nova kino. At the party there will be mingling, good vibes, and live music with Trondheimsolistene.

Anniversary celebration

On Wednesday, March 6th, at 7:00 PM, we celebrate the 20th edition of Kosmorama with an anniversary celebration at Dokkhuset. We gather friends of the festival for awards, highlights from Kosmorama's history, music, and fun.

Hotel

We are pleased to offer a hotel deal with our partners at Strawberry, where Filmtreff guests can book single rooms for NOK 1490 and double rooms for NOK 1690, including breakfast and coffee and tea.

Festival Café

During the festival week, the foyer at Prinsen Kinosenter transforms into our very own festival café in collaboration with Pala Kaffe, Gola Empanadas and ice cream, Hegstad & Blakstad, and Moskus Bar. Here, you can purchase something to drink and eat without having to leave the cinema center.

Practical info about accreditation

Accreditation grants you access to all regular screenings at Prinsen Kinosenter and Cinemateket during the festival. The pass is used to obtain tickets for the screenings you wish to attend, and the code will be sent in a separate email. Ignore the Hoopla code you receive upon purchase. Tickets can be obtained at kosmorama.no, trondheimkino.no, or at the outlets at Prinsen Kino, Nova Kino, or Trondheim Torg. The accreditation is personal and cannot be used by others.

Stay tuned to kosmorama.no for a detailed program as the festival approaches. The accreditation also includes the Edith Carlmar Symposium at Olavshallen on Friday, March 8th. Limited seats available, first come, first served. Contact us at admin@kosmorama.no for symposium registration.
