About Kosmorama

Kosmorama Trondheim International Film Festival is the biggest film festival in central Norway. Every year when march comes along, Kosmorama takes over Prinsen Cinema Centre with a curated film program screening from early morning to late at night, seven days in a row. This gives you the chance to see some of the best films from recent time for a whole week. Throughout the week Kosmoramas Industry days are also held, our most important meeting place for those who wish to better get to know the film industry in Norway and Trøndelag.
Kosmorama also organise outdoor screenings, culinary cinema, meet-ups with directors, seminars and more.

Kosmoramas film program consists of renowned and brand new films from all over the world. At Kosmorama Trondheim International Film Festival, you get to experience on the big screen some of the best cinema there is. The festival aims to offer a program that is diverse in terms of genre, expression, subjects and representation. We wish for the cinema to be a tool through which one can gain new perspectives on the world in which we live in.

In 2025, the 21th edition of Kosmorama Trondheim International Film Festival will be held from Monday 17.- Sunday 23. March.
