Kosmorama year round

Kosmorama film festival is held in March each year, but we also invite you to film premieres, outdoor cinemas, culinary cinema and other events throughout the year.

Mandagsfilmen

Every Monday, Trondheim Kino in collaboration with Kosmorama puts on a new, hand-picked quality film in our very best theater at Prinsen Kino. It's very easy to remember: Prinsen Cinema hall 6 at 6 p.m! See the program.

Olavskino

Every year Olavsfest takes place and on that occasion we curate a special program for the festival. Trondheim international Olavsfest is a values-based festival that is organized annually between 28 July and 3 August. A week filled with parties and folk life, with quality concerts and talks, with diverse artistic and cultural expressions. Olavsfest is an inclusive arena for reflection on issues of value and human rights that are relevant to all people, regardless of what you believe in. Olavsfest is rooted in the thousand-year-old Olsok tradition.

Kulturnatt

Kulturnatt Trondheim is the city's largest one-day festival! An annual all-nighter in September where you can experience bits of Trondheim's cultural life for free; concerts, performances, courses, exhibitions and much more. Every year, Kosmorama puts on different displays.

Outdoor cinema

Kosmorama loves outdoor cinema - whatever the weather! With both small and large outdoor cinema equipment, Kosmorama can appear anywhere in Trondheim and the surrounding area. Every year we organize different outdoor cinemas. Follow our channels for updates on when and where.

Christmas cinema

It has become a tradition to show Christmas films to the public, preferably outside. Pack all your warm clothes and ring in Christmas with us!

Sluppen Filmfest

Sluppen Filmfest is organized at Lager11 in a collaboration between R. Kjeldsberg, Lager11 and Kosmorama. Together we create film experiences and activities for the whole family! Read more about Sluppen Filmfest here.

Culinary cinema

One of Kosmorama's spearheads is Culinary Cinema. In collaboration with some of the city's best restaurants, bars and food actors, we arrange unique experiences where we combine film and food in beautiful magic!
