Program series: Reruns
This year's program series "Reruns" is a revisit of Kosmorama's favorite films from 2024. Five of Kosmorama's staff members have selected memorable cinematic experiences from 2024. We believe these films deserve more time on the big screen, making this the perfect opportunity for both joyful reunions and new discoveries.

Anora
Sean Baker gained international attention when his film Tangerine (2015) turned out to be shot on three smartphones! In my eyes, Baker is an auteur and has become a favorite among many for his effortless and intimate portrayals of characters and environments. I have followed Baker's career with excitement, and his latest film is no exception—Anora is a firework of a film.
- Melissa Isaksen, Producer

Elskling
Elskling was chosen because it explores universal and relatable themes in human relationships. The story is told in an excellent way without becoming predictable. As an audience, we become deeply engaged with the main characters, who are incredibly well portrayed. A truly impressive debut by Lilja Ingolfsdottir.
– Asbjørn Tiller, Industry Coordinator

Kjærlighet
Kjærlighet is the culmination of the most exciting Norwegian film project in a long time. The final film in Dag Johan Haugerud’s trilogy Sex, Drømmer, Kjærlighet proves that he is one of our foremost filmmakers. This is a deeply human film—one that you can truly see yourself in, for better or worse.
– Silje Engeness, Festival Director

Mulholland Drive
I've admittedly “cheated” a little and taken this opportunity to pay tribute to David Lynch and the film responsible for turning my love of cinema into an obsession. Mulholland Drive is, in fact, always among my favorites of the past year, as I watch it annually and never lose the sense of encounter, wonder, and emotion that make this a masterpiece.
– Mads Outzen, Head of Film

The Substance
I am the horror film enthusiast of the Kosmorama team, and I was so thrilled by The Substance that I saw it twice in the cinema in 2024. The film’s grotesque body horror elements, along with its intense cinematography and use of color, made it an obvious choice for this year’s film experience.
