A more detailed program for 2026 is on the way, but save the date, Wednesday 4. March, for a day of pitching and industry sessions focused on talent and series. And, make sure to not miss out on our yearly Edith Carlmar Symposium Thursday 5. March.

The Industry Days at Kosmorama are our most important meeting place of the year for everyone looking to get better acquainted with the film industry in Norway and Trondheim. Filmmakers, audiences, press, politicians, students, and businesses come together for in-depth explorations of the film- and gaming industry.

Industry accreditation is not required to attend Kosmorama's industry events. However, if you purchase industry accreditation, you will receive a promo code that can be used to obtain free entry to the events during Kosmorama's industry days. The Industry accreditation also includes a festival pass to Kosmorama Trondheim International Film Festival.

FILMINVEST SEMINAR AND SERIES PITCH

Filminvest aims to contribute to closer collaboration between the audiovisual communities in Trøndelag and Innlandet. Therefore, they are now inviting participants to a dedicated professional seminar during the Industry Days at Kosmorama 2026. The seminar is free of charge and open to all interested parties. Registration is required.

Welcome to the Edith Carlmar Symposium at Cinemateket on Thursday, March 5.

Kosmorama celebrates the award by hosting a dedicated symposium in her name on Thursday, 5 March from 2:00–4:30 p.m. at the Cinematheque in Trondheim. The symposium will focus on this year’s award winner - Lilja Ingolfsdottir - as well as on women’s filmmaking today. A detailed program will follow.

The symposium is a collaboration between Kosmorama, the Cinematheque in Trondheim, and the Mid-Norwegian Film Centre, and is supported by Fritt Ord.

Filminvest drama series pitch

Filminvest is launching a new round of pitching during the Kosmorama International Film Festival 2026. The prize of NOK 200,000 will go toward script development for a drama series that is thematically rooted in the Trøndelag and/or Innlandet region. The competition is open to professional screenwriters residing in Norway.
