Behind the scenes: Kosmorama's cafe-decor 2025

During festival week, Kosmorama transforms the foyer of Prinsen Cinema Center into a cozy festival café — a welcoming lounge area where you can sit down, relax, and chat with fellow festivalgoers between events. This year, we were lucky to have BergerudUstad+ design this year's café space!

For this year’s festival café design, we wanted an eye-catching room divider that would capture the spirit of the festival and transform the atmosphere of the foyer in a unique way. The white voile fabric panels could be raised and lowered as needed, serving to separate the entry area from the café while also reflecting colored light in a way that both illuminated the space and created a striking visual centerpiece in the foyer.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to BergerudUstad+, Elias Mølnvik as well as our dedicated and talented decoration volunteers, who helped make this year’s festival café truly special!
