This year’s reprise programme revisits Kosmorama’s favourite films from 2025. Five members of the Kosmorama team have selected memorable cinematic experiences from last year. We believe these films deserve more time on the big screen—making this an opportunity for both joyful reunions and new discoveries.

“Heim is a warm, funny, and honest film about finding your way back – to yourself, to others, and to the place you come from. I especially appreciate films that offer feel-good without becoming superficial, and knowing how Julie Skaufel and Bente Maalen work, I was confident they would absolutely nail it.

Henden – Rekviem for en fotograf

ndustry coordinator Asbjørn Tiller chose Henden – Requiem for a Photographer, saying:

I chose this film because of the insight it offers—into a deeply demanding profession, the conflict zones he has worked in, and how these experiences shape Henden toward the end of his life. This is one of the strongest and most important Norwegian films of last year, and it presents a universal approach to the themes it explores.

Producer Melissa Isaksen chose Nouvelle Vague, saying:

The film premiered at Cannes, where I was lucky enough to see it in a packed cinema filled with film professionals and French audiences. Making a film about making French film is not without risk – especially when you’re not French! To my delight, the screening was filled with laughter. Richard Linklater has created a film that touches the very core and love of filmmaking, with charm and playfulness. You don’t need to have seen À bout de souffle beforehand – just sit back and enjoy a small piece of film history.
