





Guests at Kosmorama 2025
In addition to showcasing films from around the world, we also welcome a number of guests who have contributed to the films you see on the big screen or have something interesting to add to the film experience! Here is an overview of this year’s festival screenings where you can meet directors, actors, film experts, and industry professionals.
Note: Screenings as part of The Cultural Schoolbag program are not included in this overview.

Onkel Jens
Monday, March 17
Director Brwa Vahabpour is coming to Kosmorama for the Norwegian premiere of his feature film debut, Onkel Jens, which is this year’s opening film!
Joining him are actors Hamza Agoshi and Peiman Azizpour from the film.

The End
Tuesday, March 18 at 18:00 – Prinsen 6
Wednesday, March 19 at 19:00 – Studentersamfundet (Tickets sold through ISFiT, free entry for all festival pass holders)
Director Joshua Oppenheimer is coming to Kosmorama! After the screening of his latest film, The End, on Tuesday, March 18, there will be a Q&A session with him in the theater.
On Wednesday, March 19, he will hold a masterclass at Studentersamfundet following the screening, hosted by ISFiT.

Sister Midnight
Tuesday, March 18 at 17:00 - Prinsen 5

Søndag 23. mars kl 18:00 - Prinsen 5
Trøndelag-based cinematographer Sverre Sørdal will be present at the festival for screenings of Sister Midnight.
After the screening on Wednesday, March 19, there will be a Q&A session with him in the theater. He will also give a short introduction before the screening on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 23.

Folktales
Tuesday, March 18 at 20:00 – Prinsen 5
Wednesday, March 19 at 10:00 – Prinsen 2
Producer Kari Anne Moe and cast member Hege Wik will attend the festival for the screenings of Folktales on Tuesday and Wednesday.
After the screening on Tuesday, March 18, there will be a conversation with them in the theater. They will also give a short introduction before the screening on Wednesday, March 19.

Solistene
Wednesday, March 19 at 17:00 - Prinsen 5
Before the film, director Trond Kvig Andreassen and violinist Nataliia Koliada from Kyiv Soloists will give a short introduction.
Right after the screening, the audience will be treated to a musical performance by Nataliia in the theater. This will be followed by a discussion about the film, moderated by Sveinung Lillebjerka.

Morgendagens helter
Wednesday, March 19 at 18:00 – Prinsen 4
Thursday, March 20 at 14:30 – Prinsen 5
Friday, March 21 at 13:00 – Cinemateket
Director Mariken Halle will attend the festival for the screenings of her latest film, Morgendagens helter.
She will give a short introduction before the screening on Wednesday, March 19. After the screenings on Thursday, March 20, and Friday, March 21, there will be a discussion with her in the theater.

Mr. K
Thursday, March 20 at 20:00 – Prinsen 5

Director Tallulah Hazekamp Schwab is coming to Kosmorama for the screenings of her film Mr. K.
She will be present for a Q&A session after the screening on Thursday, March 20. She will also give a short introduction before the screening on Friday, March 21.

Hjem Kære Hjem
Thursday, March 20 at 15:00 - Prinsen 3

Director Frelle Petersen will attend the festival for the screenings of his film Hjem kære hjem.
After the screening on Thursday, March 20, there will be a Q&A session with him in the theater. There will also be a short conversation after the screening on Friday, March 21. Before the screening on Saturday, March 22, he will give an introduction to the film.

78 Days
Thursday, March 20 at 17:30 - Prinsen 5

Director Emilija Gasić will attend the festival for the screenings of her feature film debut, 78 Days.
After the screening on Thursday, March 20, there will be a Q&A session with her in the theater, moderated by Jovan Pavlovic. She will also give an introduction to the film before the screenings on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22.

Berliner Ballade
Thursday, March 20 at 17:30 – Cinemateket

Mark Reeder, who has led the restoration of this rare and unique post-war comedy, will attend the festival for a series of Q&A sessions following all screenings of both Berliner Ballade and B-Movie: Lust & Sound in West-Berlin 1979-1989.
He will be present for a discussion in the theater after all three screenings of Berliner Ballade.

B-Movie: Lust & Sound in West-Berlin 1979-1989
Friday, March 21 at 18:00 – Cinemateket
Saturday, March 22 at 18:00 – Prinsen 5
Sunday, March 23 at 10:00 – Prinsen 8
Mark Reeder, a key figure in the film, will attend the festival and be present for a series of Q&A sessions following all screenings of both Berliner Ballade and B-Movie: Lust & Sound in West-Berlin 1979-1989.
After the screenings on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22, he will be available for a discussion in the theater. Before the screening on Sunday, March 23, he will give a short introduction to the film.

Pet Farm
Friday, March 21 at 20:00 – Prinsen 6

The director duo Finn Walther and Martin Walther are coming to Kosmorama for the regional premiere of the documentary Pet Farm! On Friday, March 21, they will attend the gala premiere of their film and give an introduction before the screening. On Saturday, March 22, they will be present for a Q&A session in the theater after the screening.

Measures for a Funeral
Friday, March 21 at 20:00 – Prinsen 5
Saturday, March 22 at 12:00 – Prinsen 5
Director Sofia Bohdanowicz will attend the festival for the screening of her film Measures for a Funeral.
She will give a short introduction before the screening on Friday, March 21. After the screening on Saturday, March 22, she will be present for a Q&A session in the theater.

Don't Hang Up

Director Alex Herron and producer Jens Ramborg will come to Kosmorama for the Norwegian premiere of Don't Hang Up.
Before the screening on Friday, March 21, they will give an introduction to the film. After the screening on Saturday, March 22, there will be a Q&A session with them in the theater.

Hva vi snakker om når vi snakker om musikk
Saturday, March 22 at 15:30 – Prinsen 5
Director Mats Andersen will attend the festival for the screening of the music documentary Hva vi snakker om når vi snakker om musikk on Saturday, March 22.
After the screening, there will be a conversation between Mats Andersen and musician Nora Kulset in the theater.

Trains
Friday, March 21 at 17:00 – Prinsen 5
Saturday, March 22 at 17:00 – Prinsen 4
Sunday, March 23 at 10:15 – Prinsen 5
Director Maciej J. Drygas and producer Vita Zelakeviciute will be present for all screenings of Trains during the festival.
After each screening, there will be a discussion with them, led by Ola Lund Renolen, in the theater.

The Long Road to the Director's Chair – Vibeke Løkkeberg
Saturday, March 22 at 13:00 – Prinsen 6
Gazas tårer at 16:40 and Åpenbaringen at 18:30 – Cinemateket
Director Vibeke Løkkeberg will attend the festival for the Norwegian premiere of The Long Road to the Director's Chair. After the screening on Saturday, March 22, there will be a conversation with her in the theater.
For the screening of Gazas tårer on Saturday, March 22 at 16:30 at Cinemateket, there will also be a conversation with her in the theater. She will also give an introduction before the screening of Åpenbaringen at 18:30 at Cinemateket on the same day.

Rinnans Rival
Sunday, March 23 at 13:00 – Prinsen 5
Director Marte Hallem will attend the festival for the screening of Rinnans Rival on Sunday, March 23.
After the screening, there will be a discussion with her and Johannes Hafnor in the theater.
