This is one of several questions that director Mats Andersen seeks to answer in his documentary Hva vi snakker om når vi snakker om musikk (What We Talk About When We Talk About Music).
Through interviews with some of Norway’s biggest artists, such as Aurora, Kjartan Kristiansen, and Dum Dum Boys, we gain insight into what music means to them and how it has shaped their lives. Andersen also turns to science to explore what makes music so magical.
