The Accidental Rockstar (2015)
The film tells the story of the iconic rock band Kaizers Orchestra, seen through the eyes of band member Helge Risa - 'the man with the gas mask'. Helge was lured away from his teacher studies by the band's founders; Janove Ottesen and Geir Zahl because he was the only one they knew who could play the organ and accordion. Helge had never really dreamed of becoming a rock star, and he didn't even like rock. In The random rock star, Helge is trapped in a universe he himself helped to create and takes us on a journey through Norwegian rock history - from Kaizers' beginnings in a rehearsal room at the teacher's school to sold-out concerts at the opera 12 years later.
Age limit: 11 years
Language: Norwegian
The film is directed by Leiv Igor Devold. Helge Risa, Janove Ottesen, Geir Zahl, Terje Winterstø Røthing, Øyvind Storesund and Rune Solheim play the roles of themselves in this documentary.
