Extra Screenings at Kosmorama!
Due to a record number of sold-out screenings this year, we’ve decided to add a selection of extra film screenings on Saturday and Sunday during the festival! If you didn’t get the chance to secure a ticket for The Blue Trail, Calle Malaga, or Trondheimskampen, you now have another opportunity here!
The Blue Trail (Blå spor)
In the near future, the Brazilian authorities have decided that people over the age of 80 must be sent to a state colony where they will live until they die. When the government lowers the age limit, 77-year-old Tereza suddenly risks being sent away. She escapes the system and sets out on a strange journey through the Amazon to fulfill her greatest dream: to fly for the first time. Along the way, she meets Cadu—an unkempt skipper who gives her a ride on his small, rickety riverboat.
We are adding an extra screening of The Blue Trail on Saturday at 21:30 in Prinsen 2.
Trondheimskampen
In 1977, the Trondheim city council decided to build a motorway straight through the Bakklandet neighborhood. “Tear the whole thing down,” they said about the old wooden houses across the city. People organized and responded with strong activism. After many years of actions, protest marches, and illegal house occupations, the politicians finally changed course. Bakklandet, Møllenberg, Lademoen, and several other neighborhoods were saved.
We are adding two extra screenings of Trondheimskampen: Saturday at 15:00 in Prinsen 4 and Sunday at 18:00 in Prinsen 4.
Calle Málaga
Against her will, Maria is forced into a nursing home because her daughter plans to sell the apartment she lives in. However, Maria takes fate into her own hands and returns to where she truly belongs. With the help of local friends and the second-hand dealer Abslam, she sets out to reclaim the apartment—and the life she loves—even if she has to do it in secret. Meanwhile, the sale of the apartment is drawing ever closer.
