Against her will, Maria is forced into a retirement home so that her daughter can sell the apartment she lives in. Refusing to accept this fate, Maria takes matters into her own hands and returns to where she truly belongs. With the help of local friends and second-hand dealer Abslam, she sets out to reclaim both her apartment and the life she loves – if necessary, in secret. Meanwhile, the sale of the apartment draws ever closer.
