Minimalen Short Film Festival in Trondheim
10.-15. January Minimalen is held in Trondheim for the 35th time.
The annual short film festival offers a rich and varied programme. From the screen at Nova cinema center and Cinemateket, the audience will experience the best in national and international short films.
-Of the over 250 films in 35 programs we have, I would particularly like to highlight the selection of new films in the INT and NOR competitions. There are 85 films from all over the world that illustrate all the exciting things that are happening with the exploration of film's possibilities, says festival manager Per Fikse.
It can be more complicated to create a short story than a long one, but the short one can certainly have its advantages. The English writer Neil Gaiman put it this way: 'Short stories are tiny windows into other worlds and other dreams. They are journeys you can make to the far side of the universe and still be back in time for dinner.'
We wish our friends in Minimalen the best of luck with the festival!
