Mid-Norwegian Investor Pitch 2025 – HEX – Maja Holand and Mari Nilsen Neira, Herstory

Several Trøndelag-based film and game projects competed for a prize of NOK 75,000 in front of an investor jury during Pitch & Påfyll on March 19, part of Kosmorama’s industry days.

The winner of the Mid-Norwegian Investor Pitch 2025 is Maja Holand and Mari Nilsen Neira, Herstory, with their project HEX.

About the project:
HEX tells the story of three completely ordinary women—Nikoline, Victoria, and Johanna—who make a three-year pact: they decide to transform themselves into a black metal band, Witch Club Satan, with the goal of expressing women's raw, primal, and suppressed power—while also discovering themselves as witches. This, despite the fact that they can’t play a single instrument.

The investor jury:

  • Knut Eilif Halgunset – Head of Transformation and Strategic Partnerships, SpareBank 1 SMN
  • Eva Klein – Head of Trondheim/CCO, Converto AS
  • Ingvild Farstad – Head of the Operational Excellence (OpEx) team, Viking Venture
