Welcome to a Culinary Cinema screening at K-U-K/Gubalari!
Gubalari and Kosmorama invite you on a flavorful journey back to the Ice Age—where it definitely helps not to have a nut allergy! On Tuesday, March 3 during festival week, we’ll be screening the animated film Ice Age at K-U-K at 6:00 PM, where Gubalari will serve a fantastic five-course meal inspired by the film.

About the film:
In a world covered in snow and ice, the sloth Sid embarks on a surprising journey with the cautious mammoth Manny. Along the way, they stumble upon an abandoned human baby, and an unexpected adventure begins as the child must be safely returned to its family. Joining them is the sly saber-toothed tiger Diego, whose hidden agenda puts everyone’s lives at risk.
The trio faces danger, betrayal, and newfound friendships, and through their journey they learn the value of community, courage, and finding family in the most unexpected places. Ice Age is a warm-hearted and humorous animated film that combines spectacular visuals with snappy dialogue and a generous dose of slapstick comedy. The unforgettable Scrat steals the show in his desperate hunt for the acorn, adding extra energy and humor. With its blend of action, comedy, and emotional moments, Ice Age has become a modern prehistoric adventure that appeals to both children and adults.
