The audience award gets a new digital twist!

Previously, only films in the New Directors section competed for the Audience Award. From now on, all new films in the regular film programme* will be included in the competition! This means that you, as an audience member, are free to vote for your absolute favorite film, regardless of which programme section it belongs to.

With this new system, we aim to make voting more accessible, reduce paper use, and include a wider selection of films in the competition. We hope many of you will take the opportunity to vote for the film that made the strongest impression on you during the festival.

All films in the programme sections New Directors, Mennesker imellom, Samfunn, Dokumentar, Skråblikk, Ramaskrik, and Adaptasjon are included in the competition.

*You cannot vote for the opening or closing films, or for films in the sections Reprise, Retrospekt, Culinary Cinema, Kosmokids, or Special Events.

Voting takes place digitally via a simple and accessible online form, and you can vote on both mobile and desktop. Each audience member may vote only once — and for one film — so use your vote wisely!

QR codes for the voting form will be placed around the festival area, and the link will be available across all our digital channels. If you experience any issues submitting your vote, you can contact a member of the Kosmorama staff at Prinsen Cinema Centre — we’ll be happy to help.

• Go to the digital voting form below

• Select the film you want to vote for

• Enter your email address

• Choose whether you want to be entered into the draw for a Kosmorama 2027 festival pass and whether you want to sign up for the newsletter

• Click save/submit your vote
