MULTIPLIÉ DANCEMOVIE - 10 ÅR
This year, Multiplié Dance Film marks its 10th anniversary with a special anniversary program! Here, all previous winning films are showcased alongside two honorable mentions, giving the audience a unique opportunity to relive the highlights of the dance short film competition dating back to 2019.
Since its inception in 2015, DansIT has had the pleasure of a valuable collaboration with the Minimalen Short Film Festival. With a shared vision of challenging and enriching short films as an art form, we have spent ten years highlighting unique voices and stories from the world of dance.
The competition is based on Multiplié Dance Festival's goal of presenting new and engaging expressions in dance art. In 2022, we expanded with a Nordic program to highlight the diversity among artists from the Nordic region.
This year, we received a total of 305 submissions from around the world, carefully evaluated by an artistic committee consisting of dance artists Gunhild Løhre, Sebastian Tjørstad, and Mathias Stoltenberg.
The best film in both the international and Nordic categories will be chosen by a professional jury and awarded a prize of 1000 euros in each category. This year's jury includes: Silje Engeness (Festival Director at Kosmorama Trondheim International Film Festival), Marie Rechsteiner (dance artist), and Tobias Liljedahl (visual artist).
Welcome to a celebration of 10 years of dance and short film!

RE:SONANS - SOUNDSCAPES
Sound – invisible, yet infinitely powerful.
This program celebrates sound as a central storyteller, with a selection of films that explore and challenge sound's ability to shape narratives and interact with the visual. The audience is taken on a journey to the depths, through the forest, and even into the kitchen. An experience that engages the senses – just hold on tight!
There’s so much exciting to experience at the festival, so we highly recommend taking a look at the program!
