FREE PRE-SCREENING - MAKTA PT. 2

Unique opportunity to watch the NRK series Makta on the big screen in Trondheim.

Tuesday 5. December at 7pm, Kosmorama invites you to a free pre screening of the first two episodes in part 2 of Makta in Nova 9. The red carpet will be rolled out for conceptualising director of the show, Yngvild Sve Flikke, and director Elle Márjá Eira who is the director of episode 7, one of two episodes being shown this evening. After the screening, there will be a short panel talk between the two directors as well as commentator and film critic Terje Eidsvåg from Adresseavisen about the show. The talk will be led by director of Kosmorama, Silje I. Engeness, and the audience will also be able to ask questions to the panel.

Makta won the price for best series and best music during at the Cannesseries this spring, and the series has also become a huge success with the norwegian Tv-audience this fall. The show is based on real events and follows the power-struggles of Arbeiderpartiet in the 1970's and 80's, and is introduced as a tale "based on truth, lies and bad memory".

These episodes will not be aired on NRK until the 7. and 14. January 2024, so this gives you the opportunity to see them long before air time!

The screening will have english subtitles, so that Kosmoramas international audience are also able to experience this award-winning show.

After the event, those who wish may walk down the street to Bar Moskus to continue the conversation about Makta into the evening hours.

Makta - on the big screen is free, but you need to reserve tickets.

The event has a limited number of seats. If you have a ticket but won't be able to make it to the event, please email admin@kosmorama.no so that we can make the ticket available to someone else.

The event is a collaboration between Kosmorama - Trondheim International Film Festival, Trondheim kino, Motlys, Novemberfilm and NRK.
