Todd og Super-Stella
Where: Trondheim Kino
Stella is tired of being the smallest and youngest, disliking everything she can't do, like learning to read and skiing. She also doesn't like things that hurt, like loose teeth and big needles. On top of that, Stella has a vivid imagination that churns out scary images of what she's anxious about. It’s frustrating that her older brother Todd can do everything Stella can't and always wants to compete.
But being the oldest isn't easy either. Todd is afraid to dive and is the slowest runner in his class. That's why he loves to win against Stella. However, the joy is short-lived, as they always end up arguing, and Todd gets the blame. Sometimes he wishes they could sell Stella.
The film follows the sibling duo over five years, from when Todd starts school to when Stella is in third grade. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions and obstacles to overcome, providing a humorous and honest glimpse into a childhood filled with squabbles, love, and failed skiing trips.

Ibelin
Where: Streaming
The award-winning success Ibelin that was shown during Kosmorama 2024 is finally available on Netflix this friday 25. October!
Mats Steen was born with a rare disease that caused him to gradually lose muscle strength. He died in 2014, only 25 years old. Parents Trude and Robert thought he lived a lonely life in his wheelchair, but after his death, it turned out that Mats had friends all over Europe through the online game World of Warcraft, where he went by the name Ibelin.
With the Steen family's private video recordings, animated scenes from the game log, and interviews with family and online friends, this is a touching and original documentary about friendship that breaks barriers.
Director Benjamin Ree follows up his previous film, The Painter and the Thief (2020), with this powerful story about Mats Steen and everything he meant to the friends he met in the game.
