About the director
Canadian Graham Foy (b. 1987, Edmonton) has made several short films under the name Fantavious Fritz. August 22. This year (2020), however, was signed by Graham Foy. This short film was selected for screening at The International Critics' Week at the Cannes Film Festival. In his feature film debut, The Maiden, Foy is both screenwriter and director. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival where it received the Cinema of the Future Award.
