The celebration of the 20th Kosmorama Film Festival is a perfect occasion to highlight the first professional feature film production set in Trondheim. Women in Oversized Men's Shirts, which was Kosmorama's opening film in 2015, is a humorous and playful film about life and dreams, women and men, love, and fumbling attempts to be oneself.
Read moreThe film is set in Trondheim, presenting many of the city's most well-known and beloved places, often in beautiful spring nights. Sigrid, a literature student, falls in love with her idol, Kåre Tryvle, a middle-age-crisis-ridden author. Performance artist Trine refuses to let an unplanned pregnancy hinder her artistic expression, and timber worker Agnes deals with her existential fear.
The film is an adaptation of Gunhild Øyehaug's novel Wait, Blink. Øyehaug and director Yngvild Sve Flikke has written the screenplay.
