Seven-year-old Maria lives with her mother in their own little world. They collect garbage and anything of value – until their world suddenly crumbles. Several years later, Maria is a teenager living in foster care. A stranger, Michael, makes his entrance, opening the door to repressed traumas, intense emotions, and madness.
