About the director
Carolina Cavalli (b. 1992, Milan) is a screenwriter and filmmaker. She has previously directed the TV comedy Mi hanno sputato nel milkshake. Amanda (2022) is her feature film debut. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2022, where it was nominated for the Audience Award. To make matters even better, Cavalli also made her debut as a writer last year with the novel "Metropolitana".
