Bula Neobistro and Kosmorama are hosting a Culinary Cinema event featuring a screening of David Lynch's Wild at Heart (1990), followed by an explosive and cheesy meal inspired by the film!
In Lynch’s road movie epic, we follow the young couple Sailor and Luna as they flee from Luna’s mother, who will stop at nothing to track down her daughter—even with fatal consequences.
As one of the few directors who fully master postmodern storytelling, Lynch fills the film with absurd, illogical events lurking beneath a sleek surface of vivid colors, fairy-tale motifs, and stereotypical characters. With its at-times nonchalant portrayal of sex and violence, Wild at Heart remains one of the most controversial Palme d’Or winners of all time.
