The Voice of Hind Rajab

On June 29, 2024, the Red Crescent receives a distress call. A five-year-old girl is trapped in a car under gunfire in Gaza. The bodies of several of her relatives lie in the car with her. At the emergency call center, operators remain on the phone with the girl while desperately trying to send an ambulance into the extremely dangerous area. This gripping feature film includes real audio recordings from the phone conversations between Hind Rajab and the Red Crescent, making it highly authentic and even more heartbreaking. The film has been nominated for an Oscar for Best International Feature. The film will be have one special screening during the festival week in collaboration with Amnesty.
