Director Magnus Skatvold, who made a splash at Kosmorama in 2018 with Trondheimsreisen, returns with another deep dive into the archives. He unfolds an astonishing story filled with intrigue and adventure, while also creating an intimate portrait of reconciliation between father and son.

The NRK series Agenten – Pappas liv og løgner won Best Documentary at Canneseries. Now re-edited into a feature-length documentary by Skatvold and Øyvinn Kastnes, The Lives of My Father has its Norwegian premiere at Kosmorama and has been selected for the Nordic competition at CPH:DOX in Copenhagen.
