Frankie Wilde is a world-famous DJ based in sunny Ibiza. His life revolves around women, cocaine and hard-core partying. One day Frankie notices that there is something wrong with his hearing so he consults his doctor and receives the crushing news that jeopardises his entire career and lifestyle. This outrageous mockumentary comedy is a highly successful satire on both the music industry and pop culture. Although Frankie Wilde could be seen as a potentially loathsome protagonist, it is impossible not to fall in love with him. With bizarre humour, wonderful characterisations, a sensational soundtrack and some extremely quotable lines, this is an entertaining gem of a movie.
