Før Solnedgang

They stroll along the winding streets of Paris and reflect on the years that have passed. They ponder what might have happened if either of them had dared to get back in touch after their first encounter. The chemistry between the two seems even more natural and indestructible in this film, as both have matured and become more confident in themselves. Could it be that their first meeting several years earlier has meant more to both than they seem? Delpy and Hawke once again deliver first-rate dialogue and chemistry, thanks largely to a well-written script, which they themselves contributed to with director Richard Linklater.
