Gubalari takes a deep dive into Jon Favreau's culinary universe as portrayed in the film Chef (2014).
Chef is an energetic and star-studded feel-good film where the characters and the delicious food will warm the heart and whet the appetite.
The well-known gourmet chef Carl apparently has his dream job as head chef in a popular restaurant, where he prepares food for L.A's gastronomes. He grows increasingly tired of the restaurant manager never allowing him to experiment with the menu, and ends up quitting his job after a big argument. Free from the strict restaurant life, Carl instead opens a food truck with his ex-wife, a friend and his son, to find the spark of life and rediscover his love of cooking.
