Kosmorama in collaboration with Transform will be screening five documentaries at Cinemateket during this years Transform festival.
"Life is Beautiful," is a powerful documentary following Palestinian film maker Mohamed Jabaly, whose journey to Tromsø takes an unexpected turn when he is stranded due to border closures back home. We follow him through seven years as he navigates bureaucratic challenges while forming deep bonds with the local community and pursuing his passion for filmmaking at Tvibit.
Despite setbacks Mohamed's resilience shines as he confronts visa denials and bureaucratic hurdles. The film captures his unwavering determination and celebrates the human spirit's capacity for hope and creative expression amidst adversity.
He will also be on the panel at "The Future of Palestine: The Hope, the Dream and the Realities", Monday September 2nd at Litteraturhuset.
