About the Event:

Rockheim – The National Museum of Popular Music, Kosmorama Trondheim International Film Festival, and Norsk Filmmusikk are hosting a warm-up event for Trondheim Calling with a screening of Almost Famous, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2025!

The night before Trondheim Calling, we’re transforming Rockheim into a cozy cinema space to showcase the iconic music film Almost Famous (2000). Beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and free popcorn will be available for this special evening! Doors open at 5:30 PM, and the film screening begins at 6:00 PM.

About the Film:

The year is 1973, and 15-year-old William is a music-obsessed teenager aspiring to become a rock journalist. With talent and determination, he lands an assignment from Rolling Stone magazine to follow and write about the band Stillwater. Almost Famous is a nostalgic masterpiece with a sensational soundtrack – the perfect way to kick off Trondheim Calling!
