The Salt Path tells a moving story about loss, love, and finding your way back to each other when everything else falls apart.
When married couple Raynor and Moth Winn lose their home and are left without security or plans for the future, their relationship is put to the test. In a desperate yet courageous decision, they set out on a long journey along England’s wild and beautiful southern coastline—through Cornwall, Devon, and Dorset. With limited resources, nothing but a tent, and only the essentials in their backpacks, they hope that nature can offer comfort, peace, and a sense of acceptance.
Along the breathtaking coastline, the journey becomes both physically and emotionally demanding. Every step is a struggle, but also a testament to their growing resilience and bond. Along the way, they rediscover their deep love for one another and for life itself—far removed from modern distractions and immersed in nature and the fundamental experience of being human.
The Salt Path is a warm and deeply affecting film about a long-term relationship put to the test—and a reminder that it is never too late to find your way back to each other, rekindle a spark, and create a home, even when everything else has been lost.
