Olavskino is a collaboration between Olavsfest, Trondheim Kino, and Kosmorama International Film Festival. Every day during Olavsfest, films are shown at Prinsen Cinema Center.
A harrowing story based on real events.
On January 29, 2024, the Palestine Red Crescent Society received an emergency call. A six-year-old girl was trapped inside a car under fire. As Red Crescent volunteers kept her on the line, they did everything they could to dispatch an ambulance that might reach her in time.
Her name was Hind Rajab.
The film is built around the real audio recording of Hind Rajab’s call to emergency services. Director Kaouther Ben Hania reconstructs the events from the offices of the Palestine Red Crescent Society.
Described as one of the year’s most important films, it was nominated for an Academy Award and won the Silver Lion at the Venice International Film Festival.
