Mandagsfilmen: Sense and Sensibility

The new adaptation of Jane Austen’s acclaimed classic breathes new life into the moving story of the Dashwood sisters, in a timeless tale of love, sisterhood, and society’s expectations in late 18th-century England. After their father’s death, the family loses both their home and financial security. Mrs. Dashwood is forced to move with her three daughters to much more modest circumstances in the countryside. At a time when love, wealth, and social status are closely intertwined, the young women must make wise choices to secure their family’s future.

Sense & Sensibility is directed by British filmmaker Georgia Oakley (Blue Jean), and the cast includes Daisy Edgar-Jones, George MacKay, Caitríona Balfe, Stacy Martin, Frank Dillane, and, last but not least, our very own Herbert Nordrum!
