Mandagsfilmen 20. October is Se meg (Don't call me mama)

Eva, living in a small village on the Norwegian west coast, faces the greatest trial of her life when she falls in love with a young asylum seeker. The two embark on an illegal relationship that turns out to have enormous consequences for them both. Eva moves from security and marital boredom to experiencing passion in her encounters with the young poet Amir—only to hit a wall in a deep personal crisis when her life begins to unravel.

We move through the grey zones between naivety and exploitation, power and powerlessness, where sympathy constantly shifts in this gripping story of forbidden love and unspoken desires, where the pursuit of passion leads to devastating consequences for everyone involved.

At last—for the first time since Mongoland in 2001—we see Pia Tjelta and Kristoffer Joner reunited on screen! They are joined by, among others, Danish actor Tarek Zayat and Kathrine Thorborg Johansen. Debut director Nina Knag has also co-written the screenplay together with Kathrine Valen Zeiner.

Every Monday at 6:00 PM, you can watch a quality film at Trondheim Kino, in collaboration with Kosmorama.
