How far will you go to achieve your dreams, when everything you do to succeed only makes you unhappy? A few intense years after her breakthrough, Maja (29) collapses. The renowned artist is forced to put her career and life on hold. Depressed and penniless, she moves back home to her mother, who has found her a part-time job at a high school. Maja experiences a hard encounter with normal everyday life and has to figure out life anew.
Low Expectations (Lave forventninger) is an emotional and intimate drama about how far you will go to achieve your dreams, especially when everything you do to succeed only makes you unhappy.
