The Monday Film on 23 November is Fatherland.
A road trip through post-war Germany.
In the summer of 1949, writer and Nobel Prize winner Thomas Mann gets into a black Buick with his daughter Erika. After 16 years in exile, he can finally return to Germany, but the country lies in ruins. His homeland is now divided in two, and Mann realises that the divide runs through his own family as well.
Sandra Hüller delivers a brilliant performance as Erika, and director Paweł Pawlikowski (IDA, COLD WAR) won the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival.
Every Monday at 6 pm, you can enjoy a quality film at Prinsen 6, presented in collaboration between Kosmorama and Trondheim Kino.
