EVERYBODY HATES JOHAN/ ALLE HATER JOHAN (2022)

The film is about the solitary island and blast base Johan Grande, who lives in the small place Titran, at the far end of the windswept sea gap in Trønderlag. The Grande family has never been allowed into the village. Johan shares the family farm with the wild horse Ella and lots of dynamite, because Johan is fond of Ella and big explosions. The great love of his life is the girl next door, Solvor, whom he accidentally partially blew to pieces in his youth.
Age limit 12 years.

Johan is played by Pål Sverre Hagen, while Ingrid Bolsø Berdal plays the role of the girl next door Solvor. In other central roles we find, among others, John Brungot, Vee Vimolmal, Ine Jansen, Paul Ottar Haga and Hermann Sabado. The script was written by Erlend Loe.
