An elderly couple lives in an apartment in Paris, filled to the brim with books, photographs and everything you’d expect from a couple in their twilight years. The man (played by Dario Argento) is writing a book with analogies of cinema and dreams, while his wife (Françoise Lebrun) is severely affected by advanced dementia.
Read moreThe film is shot in split-screen for nearly the entire duration - a striking visual effect by controversial auteur Gaspar Noé, known for his explicit violence and sex scenes in films such as Irreversible (2002), Enter the Void (2009) and Climax (2018).
