In a bleak post-apocalyptic world, the Earth's ecosystem has collapsed after a biotechnology experiment disastrously backfired, and those who live outside of the heavily guarded cities suffer from hunger. It is in this backdrop that 13-year-old Vesper and her paralysed father are in a constant struggle for survival. When Vesper encounters a woman in need of assistance and heals her wounds, it is revealed that she also carries a secret that could put Vesper and her father in even greater danger.
Read moreVesper is a visually striking cinematic experience, masterfully guiding us through an audiovisual adventure into a fantasy world where evil forces are on the verge of prevailing, and must be stopped at all costs.
In addition to creating its own universe, the film presents allegories about the deep-rooted problems in our real world today, exploring themes such as determinism and the consequences of genetic modification. It is also a coming of age story about a courageous teenager who takes her own steps to change her life.
