Documentarian Joshua Oppenheimer makes his feature film debut with this imaginative musical set in a post-apocalyptic world, delivering a clear message: the line between fantasy and reality is razor-thin.

Oppenheimer rose to prominence with his 2012 documentary The Act of Killing and has earned two Oscar nominations for his work. For his first foray into fiction filmmaking, he has assembled an impressive cast, including Tilda Swinton, George MacKay, and Moses Ingram.

On Wednesday, March 19th, at 21:00, there will also be a screening of The End organized by ISFIT at Samfundet. For tickets, see: https://www.isfit.org/
