With Hamil keeping his feelings hidden, Mina shows tolerance, awareness and understanding for his dilemma, while at the same time fighting a tough battle against an aggressive disease which is eating away at her strength.

The Blue Caftan tells a compelling yet tender story about forbidden love in a conservative society. It also shows how unbreakable the bonds between people can be, and that old traditions and liberal values can live harmoniously side by side.
