Eira lives in a small village in northern Norway. She feels that she exists in the shadow of her older and far more gregarious sister Vera, who has a larger circle of friends. But Eira notices that something strange is happening to Vera. In an attempt to understand her older sister’s behaviour, Eira starts reading Vera’s diary. It reveals a darkness that the younger sister is not sure how to deal with.
