Read moreWe are led through a historical journey from nightmarish sequences in concentration camps through to today's cosmopolitan cities and the social and cultural challenges they offer up. This husband and wife team (the script is written by Mundruczó's wife Kata Wéber) has previously released films such as Jupiter's Moon (2017) and Pieces of a Woman (2020). In Evolution, they are arguably taking their ambition to new levels, with lengthy and carefully choreographed shots, exercising a pure demonstration of power in modern film art.
