This year, the Trondheim Christmas Market, in collaboration with the Kosmorama Film Festival, is launching something completely new – The Big Outdoor Cinema Day! Enjoy the magic of Norwegian classics and heartwarming Christmas films under the starry sky at Torvscenen. Bring your family, friends, or partner and let yourselves be swept away by the world of film in the cozy setting of the Christmas market. This is outdoor cinema at its finest, with snowflakes, Christmas lights, and the warm pre-Christmas atmosphere as the perfect backdrop.

Den første julen i Skomakergata

Christmas is approaching, and in the charming Skomakergata we follow Stine, who is suddenly sent to the small Christmas town to stay with the shoemaker Andersen. There, she encounters new friends, Christmas secrets, and small miracles. The film is a warm and nostalgic reinterpretation of one of Norway’s most beloved Christmas traditions – perfect for both long-time fans and newcomers to Skomakergata.

To secure a spot, you can reserve a seat in advance on Hoopla. Reserved seats guarantee you a place to sit, while additional seats will be available for drop-in visitors – these are offered if there is space, or if any pre-booked seats are not used.
