And Still I Sing tells the story of three Afghan women who use music as a weapon in their fight for human rights. Pop star and activist Aryana Sayeed mentors two young singers, Zahra Elham and Sadiqa Madadgar, as they compete in Afghan Star. Their lives become increasingly difficult as the Taliban retake power. This documentary showcases the enormous courage needed by influential women to stand up for change in Afghan society.
