About the film
In collaboration with the people of Gaza, Vibeke Løkkeberg has managed to create this powerful testimony from inside what is, in reality, a prison—Gaza. GAZA’S TEARS reveals what truly happened, told through the stories of three children who lost their families and witnessed killings and mutilations that would deeply traumatize any human being for life.
Løkkeberg set out to make a film about these children and their harrowing fates. Such a film is not one of reconciliation, but rather a furious outcry—that this kind of retaliatory violence cannot be accepted by the global community.
