Mandagsfilmen: Paradis

A Danish family enjoys sunny days in a holiday paradise, but a very different reality unfolds in parallel. When the family accidentally hits a stranger with their car, the consequences are unforeseen, and their all-inclusive bubble bursts.

Danish critics have called it “Masterful” and “A powerful and thought-provoking drama.”

Paradis won the Best Nordic Film award at the Gothenburg Film Festival:

Director Maria Sødahl’s previous film, Hope (starring Stellan Skarsgård and Andrea Bræin Hovig), received glowing reviews, was sold to over 30 countries, and was short-listed for an Oscar.
