Monday film: Mrs. Harris goes to Paris (pre-premiere)

Ada Harris (Lesley Manville) is a widow struggling to make ends meet by cleaning wealthy people's apartment, after her husband disappeared during the Second World War. One day she discovers she has a good amount of money from an unused war pension after her husband, which can finance her dream trip to Paris. Ada falls in love with the design collections of Christian Dior, and has firmly decided not to go back home without a piece of haute couture.
