About the film
Köln 75 tells the true story behind one of the best-selling jazz albums of all time: Keith Jarrett’s The Köln Concert from 1975. The concert was on the verge of being canceled — until a driven and passionate German teenager, 18-year-old Vera Brandes, stepped in and created the conditions for a masterpiece to be born.

Still a student when she begins producing and promoting concerts in Cologne, Vera risks everything to make this night happen. Everything seems to be working against her, but Vera believes in the power of music — and she has never seen anyone play the way Keith Jarrett plays.
